About Los Alamitos Roofing and How We Work on Your Home
Every job starts on the roof itself, not on a price sheet. We check the decking, flashing, underlayment and drainage, explain what we see and why it matters, and then hand you a written estimate you can keep and compare.

How We Approach a Roof
Most roofs fail at the edges and penetrations long before the field gives out. Pipe boots crack in the sun, step flashing at a sidewall rusts through, and valleys collect leaves until water backs up under the shingles or tile. So when we inspect your home, we spend most of our time at those spots, and we photograph each one so you can see it too.
Many houses around here were built in the postwar decades and have been reroofed once or twice since. That history matters. A second layer of shingles can hide soft decking. A concrete tile roof can look fine from the street while the felt underneath has dried out and split. A low-slope patio cover may be draining back toward the wall instead of away from it. We look for those layers before we recommend anything.
Only after that do we give you our verdict: a fix that will last for years, or a roof that has used up its service life. When a repair is the sensible answer, that is what we quote. When replacement is warranted, we walk you through the reasons, compare asphalt shingle and tile options for your home, and pull the permit so the city inspects the finished work.

What You Can Expect From Us
Findings before recommendations
You see photos and a clear description of each problem before we talk about solutions. Cracked tile, lifted shingles, rusted flashing and clogged downspouts each get named and located on your roof.
Written, line-item estimates
Our free written estimates break out tear-off, decking, underlayment, flashing, ventilation and disposal, so you can see what moves the price. Should the tear-off expose boards in worse shape than expected, we stop, photograph them and review them with you before any new plywood goes down.
Straight help with insurance and financing
After wind or a heavy winter storm, we work directly with your insurance claim by documenting the damage and explaining each step, while your adjuster makes the coverage decision. Financing is available through Service Finance Company, subject to credit approval.
Service in English and Spanish
Se habla español. Talk through your roof, the estimate and the schedule in whichever language is easier for you.
Where We Work
Our crews cover Los Alamitos and the neighboring communities of Rossmoor, Cypress, Seal Beach, Garden Grove, Westminster, Stanton, Buena Park, Lakewood, Cerritos and Artesia. Salt air drifting in from the coast is hard on exposed metal, so on every visit we check nails, flashing and gutter hangers for corrosion. The Service Areas page lists each community we serve.

Start With a Look at Your Roof
Tell us what you've noticed, whether it's a ceiling stain, a slipped tile or gutters that spill over, and we'll set a time to come out. The inspection is free, and if work is needed you'll get a written estimate afterward.
